There lives a young scientist who is allowed to leave the large city protected by a dome. Coincidentally, there is a breakout of a government project with the criminal on the loose. Not wanting to continue his studies, the scientist investigates it instead, and before he knows it his life and his perception of the world will change.

SOLARPUNX is an antifascist webcomic about a scientist, teen, and robot in a totaltarian world.

What is the audience/age demographic?

14-25. SOLARPUNX is rated for teens, and it contains mature themes like violence and may contain references to sexuality.

Where will we be able to read SOLARPUNX?

The current version is currently public via Pixiv.
The final product which will be entirely new and redrawn will likely be on our website, GLOCKENSPIEL.INK, but this is to be determined, since we are seeing if we can pitch the comic to a studio to help make us a website. It will likely be a subdomain of GLOCKENSPIEL.INK if it isn't on the website itself.

Is there any triggering content in SOLARPUNX?

SOLARPUNX has themes of genocide, war, fascism, police brutality, death, and possible mild cartoon gore. look at Osamu Tezuka's "Black Jack" for reference. There will not be gore in fight scenes, only medical scenes like in Black Jack.

is SOLARPUNX an OEL?

Yes, SOLARPUNX is an OEL (english-Language Original Manga). It is colored in black-and-white with screentones and is meant to resemble the style of Japanese showa-era comics.
